Andrew Palladino Biography
I began making prints at a young age, starting in vocational school studying commercial production printing. The technical aspect of image making always interested me, seeing how far I could push mark-making and how it could blend my hand with machine. As the work progressed I began using my technical understanding to influence my drawing observation. My work stems from a variety of visual observations condensed down into independent components that amalgamate into completely new ideas. These new forms create diagrams and maps that guide viewers through my mental process of layering, transitioning, exposing, and covering. With my experience as a press operator I am currently building studio equipment for myself and an artist run collective I work with living Boston. I have also had the honor of working with small teams of printmakers to master-print for artists such as John Walker and Kiki Smith. #artpublication #texturalart #abstract #fineart #collectart #artcollectors #apero #aperocatalogue #artcatalogue #fineartcatalogue #artreview #artforsale #fineartforsale #fineartreview #blackandwhite #contemporaryart #andrewpalladino #intaglio #chinecolle
