Jessica Leigh Biography
I am a Studio Arts graduate of Loyola Marymount University. As an artist, at times there is an ego struggle that one must face. I believe that what this means is that we need to avoid the “negativity” of the ego. Of course, we should have good ego strength and be confident that we have something to offer through our art. We can have passionate lofty goals and vision; but we must not make the “self” or the “ego” more important than the work itself and the act of creating. I believe to have the highest ego, is to have no ego at all. Release negativity so that we may increase. Forgive so that we can live. I have listened to Oprah, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Mastin Kipp and more inspiring teachers to help shape me to be a more inspiring artist. I struggle to free myself of the negative manifestation of the ego such as fear and self-doubt. There is an underlying fear, yet I have learned that fear robs us of our potential happiness and contentment. We must overcome the fear in order to live up to our truest, highest potential. The inner self says I want more, so there is unrest. However, when we sit with contentment, miracles and the life that was intended for us unfolds effortlessly from a higher power and source energy. We must realize that every art attempt is good so we need to go with the artistic flow, and define our “success” not by financial measures but by our ultimate satisfaction and this artistic process. The truth is, there is enough room for all of us as artists so we can lift each other up and rise up so that we can reach our own personal best, our own goals and our own highest potential. I have been showing my art in Las Vegas, Orange County and now in Los Angeles County. It has been a true journey to reconnect to me. My art is for the viewer so you can create a translation on how it makes you feel.

Picking up the camera is an exciting process for Eva, it gives her an opportunity to explore the distinctive world of sensations.
