Ryan Gianelloni Biography
Ryan Gianelloni utilizes both natural and found objects to bring texture and depth to flat surfaces. Often, these objects are inclusive of bamboo, string, and metallic leaf. He is currently the apprentice and assistant of George Dunbar in Slidell, LA. Gianelloni states, “I find myself drawn to the same things that inspire my mentor. Nature plays a big role in what makes our creativity flow,” he also says, “It’s difficult to put a label on my work. I feel it is always evolving and I am constantly pulling from all disciplines.” Gianelloni’s work has been part of the 2018 juried Ogden Museum of Southern Art’s “Louisiana Contemporary” show where only 25 artists were selected from the entire state.
